Economic empowerment begins when opportunities reach women where they are.

As part of its flagship livelihood programme, WISH (Women’s Initiative for Self Help), ARZ has established a community-based paper handle production unit in Baina, in collaboration with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Club, which has generously provided the space for the initiative.

The unit brings livelihood opportunities closer to women in the community, particularly those with family and caregiving responsibilities. By enabling women to work closer to home and at their own pace, the initiative helps them earn an income while balancing their work and family responsibilities.

Through this model, WISH aims to make livelihood opportunities more accessible and create sustainable income-generating opportunities for women within their own communities.
